what is the best study{revision} tip ever?

I use the hidden power of Traffic Lights to supercharge revision sessions.
Revision is reeeally boring and really quite hard unless you structure it well. You need to know exactly what you are going to cover and how long you have to cover it before you sit down at your desk. For those who struggle with this, I have three words for you:
Red
Amber
Green
A.K.A the R.A.G System of Revision.
How to do it:
  1. Grab your syllabus/specification/textbook.
  2. Grab a red pen.
  3. Grab an amber pen (orange will do).
  4. Grab a green pen.
  5. Or if you are working on a computer, put everything into Excel/GoogleDocs and use the text colours there!
  6. Go through the description of each topic and decide which colour it should be:
Red: Not Understood. Could not answer questions well on this topic. Needs serious attention.
Amber: Unclear. Could attempt a question on this but needs more work.
Green: Very clear - likely to score full marks on this question.
And that’s it! The exercise should take 30–60 minutes, but will supercharge your revision. Most topics should be red or amber the first time you attempt this. If in doubt, be pessimistic so that you’ll be prepared for the exam.
Why does it work?
R.A.G. forces you to prioritise what you do not know. You must now assign a revision session of 40–60 minutes on each topic or subtopic and just focus on answering that one small part of the syllabus really, really well.
By breaking down a giant task into lots of smaller tasks, you can focus on one specific part of the syllabus, and this will make you far less likely to procrastinate.
I really recommend using this tip along with Backwards Revision to keep you even more focused each time. And if you use a professional private tutor, they can focus on the reds quickly and efficiently whilst you touch up the ambers!

Hope ,would you like it !
